when restricted i think the power is quite a lot softer in it's delivery (i may be using the wrong terminology here, i'm not quite sure how to describe it) and although it doesn't seem that much less than a de-restricted bike it's definately not as harsh and there is a difference in acceleration.

*i don't know that, that makes a huge amount of sense, i am struggling to describe it

Sorry, last paragraph of your post suggested you agree with the rules as they are.

The power difference is a load of trip. Everyone says it's no different untill high speeds. They lie!

The restriction completly strangles the bike at higher revs, in all gears, at all speeds. It's very noticeable.

I kind of do as it needs to be regulated some how but its a catch 22 situation and I can definately see both sides of the coin

Although personally, I think if they are going to have a restriction then it should, as I think you said in another thread, make it so that everyone who passes their test has a 2 year restriction, with the possible further test.

+1.

Do a cornering clinic run by the county or local plod that will make you think about what goes wrong.
Done one with Northumbria and the images they were showing of the accidents on known and v popular road slows you down.
Then they show the Tw*t knee down almost being rear ended by his mate and the plods pan euro

Tell me about it. All winter I had to fix it. But it was snowing and icey so it didnt really matter.

But now, I have never been so depressed. I just sat at the pub's I knew bikes would be passing the last few weeks and dreamed.

+1 me and Simesb was heading up to rivi both on SV's i was right behind him he went for the over take i went for it and struggled haha and he was gone ....
i couldnt belive how fast he left me it just shows how much the 33bhp does throttle the bike especially in 5-6th they might as well both be the same gear they both only go upto 7thou on mine.
