Couldn`t agree more hun but what is with men and their bikes??? they care more about the damage to their bikes than themselves sometimes!!!

I might tell the orthopaedic surgeon to forget the metal pins and plates to stick his bones back together, just use his hair gel.... am sure it`d work a treat

Thanks guys x Badger that bridge will have to be crossed when we get there lol

Ward just rang and said he`s definitely going to theatre today for surgery to knee and wrist. Spoke to him and they`ll have to operate on him from the back of his knee due to where he`s broken it and ligament involvement. No point going in today until he`s back from theatre so am gonna have a bit of a break and recharge my batteries.

Remember you need to look after yourself as well Claire. all too easy to be that focused on who is in hospital and end up making yourself ill.

Glad to hear that he is in good hands . There was talk of amputating my left foot after my crash , as you can understand , I was less than enthusiastic about it . Told them in no uncertain terms that it was NOT an option and to do what they could . The Greenhorn Surgeons that I had , opened up my ankle took one look at it , shat a brick and ended up with a Mr Zahir from Harley Street being called in ...... and I am so glad he was on call that weekend , got an ankle that works to 50% .... and that`ll do for me .

The point I am making is that there are some excellent surgeons out there who will take a look at something like that and agree that it is salvageable or flat out say that it can`t be done . My ankle was described as a loaf of bread being opened at one end and all the slices fell out one by one . The Youngsters cacked it , the experienced surgeon scrubbed up , dived in , built me an Eiffel tower replica inside my ankle and then tootled off home all in a days work . It`s gonna be painful for him , he`s gonna be in a permanent battle of Physio vs Stiffness vs Pain vs Frustration but it will get better for him over time . Anyway I digress , this is the start of the battle for him , let`s hope he wins the start and forges onwards to a good recovery , if there is anything I can do , then gimme a yell x

Tell him when he's out he'll be a more bada$$ Adam Jensen, because all his augs will be hidden on the inside!

(dunno about punching through walls though)

So glad amputation is very unlikely, been upset since reading that.
