A little bit more done tonight, not much to photograph but as we all know I like the pics so here's some anyway!!

Front sprocket test fitted, fitted it with the engraved text facing out, I believe thats correct but please shout if you know otherwise!

Front end looking almost normal....

I had a go at the seat brackets but they need a little more bending and then tapping out for the shoulder bolts. No pictures of that tho!

Instead we thought we'd show you SVGTI's similar project, it was an S version too, it has a ZX636 shock, new hagon progressive springs and oil (Forks awaiting respray).

Its is awaiting the arrival of an RVRacing subframe and then a fireblade seat when one can be found, if you know of a seat looking for a new home please PM me or him.

Here she is:

the pair:

rather empty looking front end!!

That's all for now folks. We're off leathers shopping this weekend, lets hope the christmas parties didn't fatten me up too much

Another 3 hours gone in a flash!

Took my time and here's what we got done tonight:
1) Re-installed stock dog bones as per yorkie_chris's advice.
2) Greased the linkage rollers.
3) Torqued up suspension bolts.
4) Fitted new rear sprocket.
5) Cleaned old grease from chain guide and surrounding area.
6) threaded on new chain and removed some excess links (I ordered 120!)
7) Carefully fitted master link, its a split link type which I wasn't best pleased with but if Berlin used one on his race bike, it should do for me. Needs slack adjusting once its back on the ground.
8.) Re-tried the seat fitment, need to bend the under seat bracket again to get the seat resting on it properly.
9) Fitted the rearset raisers I made.
10) Had a sit on it and made engine noises!!

It feels quite nice to sit on, I was afraid my 6'3" frame wouldn't fit onto the new seat and with the rearsets up an inch. But I settled into the tuck nicely and had room to grip the tank with my knees, not with my cherries!!

Raiser installed:

Drivechain, getting there:

Overall:

Default Levers

I took a punt on the ebay / hong kong special stubby levers.
I figured for £18, even if they were only good enough for the track day spares box, it was worth the risk.

Well they arrived today and I am, so far, pleasantly surprised.
The CNC quality is great and the adjusters feel very sturdy and move from position 1 to 6 with a satisfying click.

I'm hoping that no gremlims turn up during fitting and that they perform as well as they look.

When I bought them, I could not find close ups of the adjusters, so I took some in case anybody else was wanted some:

Think quite a few of us have em. There are even folding adjustable ones (which I now have) for £40. I bought these before so knew the seller was good. Might be from China but I have no complaints (had them for over a year).

Yeah I saw them after I ordered these, like you say, start with a small order!
Glad to hear they're a trusted product!
