anyone doing raf leeming riding/trackday?

I spent a couple of hours last weekend checking everything over on the bike. Off down to Leeming tomorrow to help set the track out, then fit in a couple of hours 'testing'.

what time does it kick off 9am per chance ?

I can't find the e-mail to say when it starts to be honest. And I can't find the paper part of my licence. I took it with me to the TT so I've had it recently but it's nowhere to be found

I cant see a requirement for the paper part of your licence anywhere. I won't be bringing mine.
It just specified you must bring photo ID to get in the gate; either a photo driving licence or a passport

On arrival at the Main Guardroom you will be required to produce a recognised form of identification. (HM Forces ID Card, Driving Licence (Photo card) or a valid passport).

BIKE AND RIDER REQUIREMENTS

Riders are to have a full UK motorcycle license and must wear the following at all times whilst riding on the circuit:

• A road legal motorcycle helmet.
• 1 or 2 piece leathers or equivalent protective clothing.
• Motorcycle boots and gloves.
• All motorcycles are to be road or track worthy.
• Lights and mirrors are to be taped up or removed.

Well that's me back from Leeming as I missed the last session. Was good to see people from the forum. I had a cracking day personally. I was in the slow group but managed to overtake a BMWS1000RR on the outside of a left hander. I also managed a bit of grass-tracking after going into a left hander a bit hastily! Time for a shower and a beer now I think.

Home safe, washed, bike chained up and chinese eated. Absolutely knackered, been dazed since the first session!
Good to see everyone again, I definitely need to get out on my bike more often.

Just looked at the data output from the app the scottish lads (sorry didn't catch names) pointed me to, apparently I hit 127mph on the straight! I didn't think I'd had enough of a run up to get to that speed,apparently had a best lean angle of 52.3 degrees whatever than means in realterms and an average speed of about 56mph (which does actually sound accurate!).

Not sure I bumped into you heed (knowingly!). What were you on? there were a few quick SV thous putting me to shame.
