G, that makes life easy, then.
I've suggested to Scoobs that we stop at the petrol station in the Tescos just off Junction 1 of the M3.

We haven't sorted out a time, yet, but I would expect to be there around 1900if I leave at my usual 1700.

Hmm I think I will show up. Haven't riden the bike for a while. If you lot are meeting up in sunbury I can guide you in. I am leaving from staines so I can easily detour to sunbury, although I must confess that I hate going in that way, you have twickenham, richmond, several speed cameras & idiots. But I don't mind

I'll happily guide you guys in, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get away from work on Friday - I am crazily busy at the mo. I'm supposed to finish at 3 on Fridays, but since I started the job I've never got away before 7-7:30

However, if I have a proper excuse, then I'll get away OK

I'm working in Knightsbridge, near Harrods, so can cover most of the SW approaches

Where are you coming from

If it's Pompey, then the A3 is quickest route into town

Drop me a pm & we can exchange mobile no's, and co-ordinate things

cheers

Simon

Anybody and everybody is welcome to join us but no need to guide us in.
Apart from the possibility of coming into Frith street from the wrong end, I should be ok guiding Scoobs and Grinch in.

I know the A3 is technically the quickest from there, but going via the A3 adds about 40 minutes onto my journey. Plus the fact that I have no intention of finding my way through Wandsworth to get to Soho and I always miss the turning to get up onto the A4 or the A316.
All in all, it's just easier for me to come up the M3.

Definite no-show this Friday I'm afraid... I'll be in a stuffy transit van on the way to the Peak District!

I've finally got my chain and sprockets fitted... now just a bit of servicing, cleaning, brake-overhauling, remapping and I'll be ready for the roads again!

Not Heston, it's quite a bit out of the way and that part of the M25 is pretty crowded at that time on a Friday night.
Harrods is ok with me, but we may be running a little bit later, ie, getting into central london about 2000 ish. It might not be worth the bother, since it's not that much further from there to get into Westminister.
