Getting back to the original post...Go on, report it! The more of these scumbags we can get off the streets the better it will be for society. I've seen cousins go totally off their heads after long-term use of weed...nothing else, just weed. When the dealer down the road from me got raided and moved on by the police, the atmosphere along the whole of our road changed.(For the better)

This reminds me of a fast show (or was it Harry Enfield? can't remember. anyway...) sketch with Dutch police sitting in a car.

"Hello! Here in Holland we're had trouble with burglary, so to solve this crime spree we've decided to make burglary legal."

Emm. Original post... if they are causing bother, attracting *******s who are hanging around, being very obvious about the whole thing, reptort them.

If they were very discrete and caused no hastles, ie you didnt notice them, which is obviously not the case, I wouldnt bother.

Two of the biggest pot heads I ever met where coppers.
Any gear they confiscated they would keep a bit for themselves.

I wish people would stop being busy bodies sometime. Keeping a log , camcorders

One of the three people I have met who got a bit strung out on weed was a cop.

No idea what he did when he became one, because, he vanished. The day he became a cop, he completely moved to a new group of people, regardless of whether his old mates were smokers / thieves etc. He just exited.

He had dodgey enough aquantances. One night, he caught someone, in his kitchen, trying to rob his bike, who hit him with a bolt cutters and almost killed him. Yes. He kept his bike, in his kitchen, locked.
Another time, one of his "mates" arrived into the shop, with a fractured skull and a clear foot print on his chest. He was out ram raiding the night before, and was caught by the cops.

Havnt seen, or heard from him since.

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to follow the link to another site in somebodies signature, plus the fact that it was mentioned further back.

As to your first point, so what if nothing is proven on here? Are we not allowed to make assumptions or suggestions any more?

As to the second, Ok, you may think tolerance is the key but having worked for a police unit and had the unfortunate events of drug related crimes to deal with I work on the bigger picture to all this.

Go tell the mother of Mary Anne Leneghan that tolerance to drugs is a good thing.

Go tell all the people who live in areas where dealers are armed and off their face that its a good thing.

Go tell all the women who are prostitutes because of their habits, or because its the way their pimp makes them do some of the most despicable acts in porn films that its a good thing.

Go tell all the junkies that are committing assaults and burglaries and their victims tolerance is a good thing.

Go tell all the medics and police officers who have to deal with violent addicts or pick up the vomit ridden bodies of junkies that tolerance is a good thing.

Yes you can argue til the cows come home "but its only personal use". Add up all the people who say that and your looking at a big scenario with gangs arming to protect their gear and their territory.

People complain about where our society is heading. Its heading where it is because people are too tolerant of drugs and by the time it escalates its too late.

Sorry zero tolerance is my standpoint. Because your friendly dealer isn't so friendly and will quite happily sell any gear to school children. Just because what you do isn't so serious and is your choice still doesn't make it right.
