We do give thought to our neighbours, as they are a decent bunch and will always park thoughtfully so that we can get the bike out of the house without problems. If we are going to be leaving early in the morning, we'll put the Akra back on, as it's much quieter.
You hooligan.

No need to be embarrassed. It's what you do with it that counts

Hmm... don't be fooled. Women can be very convincing when it comes to making the other half not feel too bad

Cheers

Pete's been riding for 34 years (old, ya see) and I think he worked out that he'd had 36 bikes in that time. But he's never kept a bike as long as the SV. He's had much bigger and faster bikes,(almost being sucked off the back of a Daytone 1200 at 160mph is fun NOT) but he would be the first to say that he used to ride like a knob, and it's only since we've had the SV that he's actually become a good rider. A large part of that I'm sure is down to having had the bike for 4 years, and doing close to 60,000 miles on it. He KNOWS the bike, and knows it's capabilities................. and he trusts it, which is an advantage a lot of these Power-Ranger types don't have.

We will always be left for dead by the big BHP guys on a straight road, but on the twisties it's a much more level playing field. And I will admit to feeling a little bit smug when we leave much bigger and more powerful bikes in our wake, mostly because I love the SV to bits, I think it's a fantastic bike, and I really enjoy making people dismissive of it as a 'girls' bike, or a 'new riders' bike think again!

Your can should be a different length depending on how tall you are?

As I need less "enlargement" than some, I've cut 4 inches off the end of my can and donated it to someone in more need
