Meh...

I guess they'll carry on from where the film left off, I wish they wouldnt do that... they should go and remake all the films that were made that don't stick to the plots in the books.

Got a source Razor or is it findable by googling ?

They'd just alienate 90% of the fans if they did that, especially if they did the Connery films again.
I wonder how many box sets they sell after each new movie release?

Umh that looks interesting, might work if they take it as a sub plot from Casino Royale.... have to wait and see I guess. Cheers for the link

The Connery films though are reasonably OK, The Man with the Golden Gun is good as a film although different to the book. I was really thinking more of the Roger Moore era films which are IMHO utter cack Moore I dont like as a Bond. If they remade Moonraker so it wasnt rubbish I'd be happy TBH.

Moore made the most films and there are some crackpots out there who reckon he was a better Bond than Connery. My fave Bond was actually Lazenby, Connery second, Brosnan, Dalton and Moore last.
Craig has moved to the top of this list but Moore remains at the bottom.

Connery is my fav, but Lazonby, Brosnan and Newbie Bond Craig probably Craig is the closest. The capture the spirit of Bond for me. I dont like the modern reliance on gadgets and CGI which is why I was pleased that the latest film has moved away from that. I liked Daniel Craig I think he understood how Bond should be played.

That's basically word for word exactly what I was going to write.

So, I wont bother now.
Nah, I mean, the SAS without any doubt have a mystique an a scariness about them, that is not at all exploited in Bond films. SAS guys that I have seen seem to be basically the opposite of old Bonds. (Although I suppose I only a few of them.)

This Bond is far more out of that mold than a the previous guys.

Or to put it differently, you could probably take Roger Moore. Timothy Dalton, yup. But you'd not start anything with Daneil Craig. Or Sean Connery for that matter...

Yeah. Well, I was going to write you might take Sean, if you sneaked up behind him with a metal bar, but then I realised he would hear it at the last second, and whip around and catch it as you were about to belt him, and then use it to smack you in the head with, when its still in your hands.

Craigey boy would just just knife you and saunter off somewhere. No messing about.

I think that Begby should be given a part in random films too. You know, instead of " thug at Bond Bad guys house", you'd have Begby. lashing back the cans of heavy, playing a game of pool, Benson and Hedges in the mouth, and he would glance up and commence GBHing, and you could think, ahh, that's where Begby ended up.
He could take out some of the misc cannon fodder good guys in a none to ethical fashion, before scarpering when he realises Bond doesnt like his type round here.

Bebgy. Sigh.
