Can you not just flash it back to standard, or remove the drive and instead use a 512 memory module?
Or is it something a bit deeper than that - I didn't think the 360 had been broken in any way.

You can flash it back but they will still get you

If you block port 3074 on your router/firewall you can keep your 360 on your network for streaming media etc but stop it from connectiong to the live service.

Of course if you flash to the ixtreme 1.2 firmware this is currently considered to be undetectable.
