But think just how many people bought tickets for the Valencia race - after all that's the important thing, isn't it ?

Ooooooooooooops sorry - somehow I slipped into Poison Dwarf mode for a minute there !!

I cannot say that I'm surprised - see my earlier post - I believe that this has been a 'snow job' from the very first moment it was announced.

Ha Ha Ha

Well, at least he got his excuse in early. Not fast enough, and couldn't take the beating: that's my take on it. Weird time for the announcement as he has a 2007 car test today (which he has paid for himself apparently)

Just read about this on the BBC site. Bit of a shame I think.. would have added some extra drama, but at least we should have now a cleanish fight for the title between the remaining contenders without the possibility of schumacher and ferrari mucking things up...

I also think it is a shame, it would have been interesting to see how things would have shaped up with Schuie back in a car. I wonder what will happen now?
Im looking forward to the next race, i am a Lewis fan but i am also chuffed that Button has been doing well this season. I hope they get their recent problems sorted so that the competion gets fierce haha!

Could it have anything to do with the fact that he's actually driven the 2009 car (F60) & that he's another of Ferrari's official test drivers ?

He's 38 and hasn't driven an F1 race for 10 years and didn't ever score a point. Might as well dump Jaques Villeneuve in the seat. They've got better options IMO but i ain't gonna argue with Ferrari, will be good to have a new face anyway.

Red car dives off track & overtakes others before rejoining.
Why no penalty?
( clue in first two words )

You mean the first corner? I doubt anyone would get a penalty for that. Or did ye mean somethin' else?
