Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Not decided yet but have booked a test ride. Mike, I'll pop over and let you have a go as I'm getting it from gear4 near you. I've got some cash waiting to be spent on toys and its either a 690 sm or an rc 8 at the moment but am also toying with a 675 too... |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
That's true. Why the RC8 in particular?

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I'm a KTM fan...
And it seems to fit well when I've plonked my ar$e on one. That and the fact that it looks great. I have been talking to an accountant who thinks I will be able to put it through my books as I use a bike for commuting... |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
My old boss had one of his bikes through the books as he used it for going out and doing quotes on..
I like KTMs too. The RC8 seemed very comfortable to me, as did the superduke, but I've only sat on them at bike shows. |

Quote:
Sounds like we may have the same accountant The problem is that I refuse to pay over £500 insurance on anything... I can get both my bikes FC for less than £400 at the moment and I've just done a quote quickly on my current bikes and it looks like £320 for the pair next year (roughly as I know the costs fluctuate). The other problem is that I don't really need a new bike as I really like mine (it's pretty too ) but just fancy something different for a while but would be keeping mine too. I did look at a gixxer too but couldn't bring myself to do it unless its the (k8 1000 in white) as they are a bit chavvy, great bikes (from k6) but still chavvy. So can I justify it to myself if I know the taxman is paying most of it for me? |
