Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Being kind to others seems to be a thing of the past so it's even more sad to lose one of the good guys.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
What a lovely dry warm summer.
MOT day today. Ride the bike to the garage and walk home is the plan. Pouring with rain this morning. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Such a 21st century problem.
The wife bought a new toaster and threw out the old one. Nothing wrong with it, simply a 2 slice and she wanted a 4 slice toaster. But the bread doesn't fit in it. I have to cut half an inch off in order for a slice to fit. Her method is to turn the bread half way through which leaves the ends under done or burnt in the middle. So where is the fault? Breville making undersized toasters or Warburtons making oversized bread?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Probably Warburton making 'bread' in a way that bears no relation to bread making, whipping so much air in to the dough and creating an overly tall loaf of gunk.
I'll get off my soapbox later. |
