Law...But the penalties very rarely do not produce the true winner on the night? France were the better team and created more chances for the majority of the match yesterday but came second.

I like the idea of making them keep playing but the paymasters,(TV networks) would not sanction that I am sure.

It would appear that the racist nature of Materazzi's comments to Zidane are gaining momentum. He of course denies using any such language,(which is only to be expected of course!)

Have the best team always won the game in 90 minutes? I've watched teams dominate a game and not score , only to concede a goal in the dying minutes and lose. Life isn't fair, why should football be?
