Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Finally had chance to get out for a run on Bullseye, first since the 600 mile service. It was all going well until I remembered I'd left the power setting in B. So I pulled over and switched if over to A.
Yee Ha! An already fun bike has turned into a much faster fun bike. I've seen the power curve comparison graphs in the launch videos and it is a subtle difference in power but the throttle response is way quicker and it seems to have bumped up the torque in the midrange. Leaving it in B was probably right for the initial running in but barring poor weather its staying in A from now on.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
A very large, bright red hot air balloon with Virgin Experiences written on the sides and on the gondola just floated over Trev Towers. And when I say over... it nearly brushed the chimney pot! Clearly heading for the park at the end of my road, one of the many mature trees dotted about the place must have been in its path, as it headed back up again before disappearing over the next ridge of hills.
Hope they landed safely somewhere. From underneath, with it being so low, it looked enormous!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Smile of the day for me is my bike is pretty much ready for an MOT. Tank rusted inside taking pump and big filter housing with it. Got a good deal on genuine parts from ebay and a kind member peterco had a tank kicking about. It was a k3 so had to modify slightly. New battery and niggly indicator but its ready. Bike runs sweet again.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
We've been in the Suffolk/Essex borders for a midweek break, staying at charming old inn, and the temperatures dropped way down on Wednesday. As we set out for home at 9am today we actually saw single figures (well, 9) on the outside air temp in the car. And the house felt pretty chilly when we got back too. Well, cold for us soft southerners anyway...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Potential "Leader of the Free World" (again).
Question that was asked of Trump (in campaign stop in Michigan). Bear in mind when reading this that the polls in the (7) swing states are pretty much balanced so many people still support this senile buffoon. A few hundred thousand people will pick the next President (out of 160+ million voters) Here's the question: "What actions will you take to ensure that our jobs stay in America?" His answer: “So pretty much as we’ve been saying …and what I want to do is I want to be able to, look, your business …years ago in this area, I was honoured as the ‘Man of the Year’, was maybe twenty years ago, and the fake news heard about it, they said, “It never happened, it never happened”.
