More tinkering. This time a Kodak Retinette 1A with a sluggish shutter.

Might as well clean the escapement while its apart

Hmm, what do you reckon? Culprit?

Ha, the whole set in my Super Fujica came out like that, I decided at that point it had been worth opening it up.

Just need to solder the flash wire, remount the shutter and set the focus.

Another day another little job. Focus was sticky on this Nikon 50mm f1.8, looks like its had some fizzy drink spilled on it as some point.

Useful site, they have a Facebook group too and are really helpful. Just need to sort the ring under the mount for the meter on the Nikon FM and it will be all done.

Got the Fujica shutter back together, glad I didn't properly separate the aperture blades, was still a PITA though. Just need to try to figure out collimation, I'm still none the wiser. I spent a while looking at photos of other people's cameras and they all look just like mine - the size (or lack) of gap between the parts of things etc.

It's as though the whole shutter/lens is too far back. I can't remember now if I checked it at infinity, but at 6ft it says more like 5, and there don't seem to be any adjusters at all. The link arm for the rangefinder doesn't touch where it should, which also looks like it is because of it all sitting too far back. I need to double check all that.
