Hit and miss with Alfas. Electrics CAN be a nightmare. If it has full service history and has been looked after, it should be ok. Take for a test drive, test every button, make sure it works correctly. Engines are strong, but they do go if abused and not maintained, hence the SH. The 2.0 16v engine is a belter if your looking at that. 150bhp, but pulls and pulls like my old vauxhall redtop. Alfas are GREAT cars IF you find a good one. Otherwise if you get a bad one, it'll be a money pit and u'll curse and spit on the Alfa name. |

Golf 2.0 In case you cant read that >>New bike on the way so the golfs got to go! Immaculate low mileage example, 115BHP, first registered 14/06/2001 only done 55,321 miles, just had main dealer service which included a brake fluid change along with oil, filters, they did the multi-point check and found nothing. Cambelt and pulley replaced at 48,925 miles, full history, new set of continental premium contacts fitted allround about 300 miles ago MOT until may 10th 2008, taxed until the end of May Being the GTI has all the good stuff on it, trip computer, Air-con, driver and passenger airbags, seat airbags, alloys, electric windows front and rear, central locking, cd/cassette radio, etc Finished in pristine metallic black, few marks here and there but nothing major. ?4200 ono Jim 07528 877 634 << Looks nice. I'd take a 206 - pretty comfy nice design, quite nice to drive. Only downside is french build quality but you'd get that with a 106 or saxo anyway. Better than a fiesta for styling in my opinion.
