were based 3 miles from the A19, quickest way from York, an hour in the car, so about 45-50 mins on a bike.

Ride out route:- Easington Lane - Durham-Crook-Stanhope-Westgate-Nenthead-Alston-Hartside-Melmerby-Hartside-Alston-Brampton-Greenhead-Haydon Bridge-Corbridge then A68 back down to Crook-Durham - Easington Lane . I think it will last about 4 Hours with stops / Bacon butty at Hartside.

Cant believe im working... Gutted. Finish at 8PM with work on Sunday too so its kinda a git to try to make it for a couple of hours. Though id love to.

What time do you expect to be at Hartside cafe? Just thinking me and Mike could hook up with you there for the rest of the ride?

I'm still up for it, hand injury depending, (seems to be taking an age to get better).

Where and when is the jump off point, It might be easier for me to head from Darlo on the A68, and meet you at the roundabout on the A689 before you head off up weardale,
