Nope, not tried anything else yet, but salmon for sure and venison shaved into biltong style strips are high on the agenda. Anyone got any juniper trees they need cutting down?

OK my tomato's are rip and i have approx 20 ripe chillies (Caian(cant spell. blody hot though)) I am thinking of making some kind of ketchup. anybody got any recipies????

I haven't made it yet, but Jamie Olivers Ketchup lookes superb! Just stick some chili in it to your own taste!

It's not published, but it's here in basic form.

omg, my bulgarian carrot chillies are fierce.

Sarah, I bet they aren'tas hot as the bih jolokia! Just had a nibble of a tiny pod, barely the size of a garden pea and had to go somewhere quiet to sit! Couldn't stop giggling, drooling all over the place, burning like a bugger it was!

So then I decided to try one off the Chinese Pot! Holy mother of all that is holy, those little pods are like hand grenades going off! Barely one centimeter long, but trust me, they have a huge bite!

The plants have hundreds of pods on each, and I have two plants!



I lost count of the pods at 300 just on this one.

For scale, here is a ripe one. Hot little bugger!
