ok then...
i was always taught that if you use "an" in a sentence the following word must always begin with a vowel. i.e he was an excellent rider... why, therefore is "horrific" preceeded with "an" ie it was an horrific attack. a horrific sounds better to. or have i got it wrong? is this the exception which proves the rule? |
