Jeepers J...that's terrible!

Hope you're OK, the bike was looking SO good too! That is a real shame!

Hopefully the insurance will pay out decent and you can start again...I know it won't be the same, but maybe give you an opportunity to change the little things (if any) that you weren't happy with.

On a separate note.....if the black pillion pegs are OK on both sides I'll have dibs!

(P.S. No sign of the can yet....have you got a tracking number?)

i'm gutted for you mate. your bike was looking really, really good to me (for a pointy ). glad you're not too badly injured, damage to the sv looks pretty servere, wouldn't surprise me if it's a write off with what it cost you to do all the stuff you'd done to it.

i presume as you were t-boned it wasn't your fault at all?

Nope not my fault at all i was riding straight on past a side road and he shot out and smashed right into me ! Luckily i have a witness who saw the whole thing - hopefully the insurance/lawyers will see it the same way!

The guy from the RAC said that it would probably be written off which is really sad - i have spent the last 6 months working on her to get to this stage only for some idiot not to look where they are driving and ruin it all !!

Really ****ed off about it all !!

Cheers for the well wishes to everyone - I will be back on two wheels as soon as possible - probably a Gixxer 750 this time - one that doesnt need any mods. Dont think i can go through all that again !!

Blimey that really is gutting At least your relavtively OK though.

I assume everything on the bike was declared to the insurance, otherwise you may well end up with just the book price or worse nothing at all?
