i too have been enjoying the photos, however i have absolutely no clue what any of those parts are (other than coming from the engine!) and it means bugger all to me.

i too am happy to come and lift/hold/fetch/carry things for you mark, if only to try and be helpful and learn a bit about engines!

edited for stu

this is the righthand side of the engine (sitting on the bike).

(1) Balancer shaft (in front of the barrel)
(2) Main crankshaft
(3) oil pump
(4) transfer shaft (transfers drive to the oil pump from the crank)
(5) Gear selector cam ( gives the different gear positions)
(6) gear lever output shaft (other end connects to the foot change)
(7) Clutch main shaft
( whoops forgot to label it
(9) main gearbox shaft
(10) cam chain

well the thing with the CCM guy to get a crank, seems not to have happened and I don't want to waste anymore time, so order a secondhand one today, hopefuly be here for the weekend.
