At the risk of stealing someone else’s lines Itīs always good to hear that good things are happening to good people.

Awww, thank you and yes.......it will inflate his ego even further, but it's ok.....I can bash it back down again.

When are you back in Blighty again? The boys miss you and I want to meet the other woman that can kick them into touch when needed......imagine what the two of us could do??? FEEL THE FORCE!!!

Serious note from me - On a comment to Stretchie's awesome-ness.

June/July 2007, floods all over the country, Hovis convinced me to go to AR07, only so he couldn't turn up I got there very early, sat down, Coffee in hand with Bacon Roll, shaking like a leaf because I was about to go for a weekend away with a complete bunch of strangers that may not like me. Heard the roar of bikes turn up, Baph at the front with the others, Stretchie was the first to come and say hello and we just kept chatting. We continued to have laughs over the weekend (he must remember Tim Wilky almost falling over backwards? ).

The only sighting of me and him together...

This is not to say that others didn't make me feel welcome and make me laugh, but we're only talking about Stretchie's awesomeness

That's my boy. My Auntie Judith has had a hard few years with a husband committing suicide and her daughter dying at 16....only to then be broken into and beaten VERY badly (losing teeth, hair and needing lots of stitches) in her home very late one evening after her son returned to Uni.
She's all of 4'11", is a recovering alcoholic (turned to the bottle in grief) and is as frail as frail can be. The first time I took Stretchie to meet her, he did the usual kiss on the cheek when we got there and by the time we left.........I said goodbye with a hug and a kiss and Dan got the biggest cuddle I've seen my auntie give anyone for a long time. She told us how she'd love to see him in his leathers, so next time we went....took the bike and she was like a teenager again, giggling at him while he stood there posing and lunging by the bike.
A few months later we had to go to a family funeral which, obviously, Judith doesn't cope with well........so Dan put his leathers in the boot of the car. When it was getting a bit much for her at the wake.....he took her to the car and I don't know what he said or did, but she came back in with him, arm in arm with a massive smile on her face and told me that I'd found myself an angel!

He's going to hate me praising him like this....but for all the help and support he's given me over grief, troubles and the like...he does it for everyone and truly does bring happiness to people. My whole family adore him....

And so do i!

Awww nice one grunty, glad youve got yourself a bike you like and you it sounds like you can a "on hand" mechanic for it aswell , strectchie sounds like a top guy hun

I wouldnt be without Treacle, hes part of the family now (well tbh he was part of it from day one when he came in to take me to test ride the 675-dad took a shine to him straight away and the rest is history )

Just spent our first week alone together on holiday and no arguments, no fights etc-think this pic pretty much sums up how happy us guys are together:
