I have a 1cm Fibrous Adenoma in my left boob. I must stress to those that don't understand what it is IT IS NOT CANCEROUS. Since June I have visited the specialist twice, had two ultrasounds, and one needle biopsy. I have been given the choice of it being left alone (its already grown 1mm since first seeing the specialist because the biopsy can cause a clot to make it bigger) or having it removed. I have had to think very hard about it, as I can't afford to have the time off work, so am waiting for my holiday in January to Cyprus then will make arrangements.
To any woman, being faced with the possiblity of having breast cancer is the single most scary thing ever. Luckily for now I don't have cancer, its not likely to develop it either. BUT I have to get used to the fact that when I decide to have the damn thing removed, I have a scar across the top of my boob. I don't have the largest pair of norks, so whatever they decide to cut into me, will look massive to me. Can anyone imagine what a woman feels like being hacked into to have something the size of a marble removed.....NO?? didn't think so, so how would you feel having your tit removed full stop?

I'm lucky to have had a very very understanding man by my side since August to put up with the stress of what this causes. I can laugh at times about boobs and norks and eartha kitts, burleque bras, and everything else, but sometimes behind closed doors, its very stressful and upsetting knowing that I had close shave....kinda puts life into perspective.

It wasnt a personal attack on anyone, but your telling me you or anyone else has seen a glamour model like jodie marsh and thought what a mess when she great boobies before she had implants.
Be honest now everyone, big massive boobs on a small woman dont look right do they, rightly or wrongly they stand out more than a proportional size to the womans frame.
Finally, dont all turn this in to a bitter debate, im sure the op was meant light hearted as much as blokes would talk about down a pub or something.
First of all, I don't really think anyone should have an "opinion" on anyone elses body. I have stayed quiet but watched this thread. TBH, it really is no one elses business whether a woman wants to have surgery on her body. These days women (and i appreciate men too, but not to the same extent) are under a huge amount of pressure to conform. We are all meant, according to the media, to be tall, slim with big boobs. Threads like this do nothing but encourage that view point.

And with regards to the last point, whilst blokes might see it as a bit of light hearted banter, a lot of women do not and it is a serious issue for a lot of women.

Well thats the same thing then, some people will probably look at them and cringe, but you love them dont you?

I love my boobs they make me happy, I would recommend it to anyone, this girl, if she wants them done then she should go for it and no one should try to change her mind, not Lozzo or her partner or her parents or her friends. Its her decision and her body. Thats all.
I get to have the 'down the pub' chat too, this is Idle banter after all

Well just about every girl Ive ever spoken to has wanted to go bigger or get reduced.
Its a MASSIVE issue and I think that the sooner that guys realise how damaging comments said 'in jest' can be, the better!

Im not criticising you or anyone else, fair play to you.
All women look at some women and criticise something even if its just to themselves, but again op asked us our preference etc we gave it, i wouldnt be attracted to a size 8 with 'h' cups whereas other men would, nothing wrong with it, just the way it is.
(btw probably wouldnt get the opportunity anyway)
Incidently, i look at my tattoos and cringe so where does leave us lol

Its a public forum, dont get all sensitive.
If we dont give opinions on stuff we might as well close it down.
You might not know this, but men talk about this stuff occasionally, whats the difference?
Hate to say it again, you could always click unsubscribe button if its not your cup of tea, thats what i do.
