Insurance regarding bike claims varies I've found only admiral and aviva don't rate against bike claims.
Yeah would have guessed your excess would be around that, I imagine your fairing would be around £100, then it's just pegs, levers, a clipon (try nobbylad) and a few other bits. might not be worth claiming. If the forks are fooked on the other hand, it might be a closer shave.

Plenty of time to get it fixed before the weather allows proper riding! You don't get off that easy.
