Shell - i got

http://www.dfs.co.uk/sofas/leather/clarion/

in cream of all colours

it was delivered early and its been great so far - gets a monthly feed with renpur(sp) and never had any problems with them so far. DFS have been great and no prob's there but like GG says i fell in love with it and knew that was the one I wanted. Once both chairs recline and you put the stool in its mega comfy - we have fights with our guests for who sleeping on the sofa! (i got 3 spare beds too)

best advice - go and sit on them all and if your thinking of getting a recliner - go electric you get more choice in position than the manual and the arms don't suffer so much( use them to help pull the feet pad back in)

hope you get something you like though! and remember - you can't take the money with you and you need a treat occasionally

I was daft enough to pay cash for the asking price of a couple of sofas from DFS. It never occurred to me that in order to offer interest free credit to poor people, they pre-load the interest onto the asking price. Mug, I wouldn't do that again.

My last sofas came from doorway to value, not cheap, but not expensive for a couple of lazyboy sofas.

Once we had ordered with DFS, then it was all good. One of the wodden fronts was damaged, so a quick call and a bloke was there the following morning. The are good qulity.

Ordering was another issue. All i can say is MEASURE where youa re going to put the sofa, as the ones in store may look small but they are not.

My mum ordered a 3 piece. I thought lets just measure it before we leave. Glad i did as the sofa was about 18" longer and the chairs were huge and no way on this earth would they have fitted. This is when DFS got a bit shirty saying that we can not change the order etc etc. The salesperson who sorted the order came over and asked what the problem is. Like we said to the manager, we didnt want to cancel the oprder, just amend what we were ordering. He said no owrries, found the paperwork, tore it up and we started again, getting 2 2 seat recliners, oh yeahhhhhh. Best things ever. It was one of the things that i missed when i lived with BBC! Now im back, oh yes! They will be going with me next time i move out im sure mum wont mind
