I got snogged by Bear yesterday . . . I spent most of today in my tent , rocking back and forth . . . . The horror

The whole event was good but there were some Major Highlights that keep coming back to me . Bill Bailey was hilarious , Howard Marks was a hoot , Anthrax were good , Megadeth were ok , Metallica blew the roof off the place and Slayer turned out a good show . Slipknot were epic and I got myself into the circle pit on the right of the stage , got some great footage . Got to see Killing Joke who have been on my list for ages to see , Paradise Lost were a tad boring but Sisters of Mercy cheesed us right off with the amount of smoke they blew out onstage .... apparently to hide how old he looks (vain stupidity) . Gojira were pretty epic . Saturday rained a lot and I wasn`t bothered at all about Weezer and the lacklustre Biffy Clyro (had to endure them at Foo Fighters the week before) ..... but Saturday was totally worth it for one band alone and that was Cavalera Conspiracy .... Max did some Sepultura numbers and a Nailbomb one as well . House of Pain were quite good , it was nice to see Motorhead at last as well . There were plenty of other bands I caught that were quite good , but the whole weekend was a blur of highs , lack of sleep , mixed weather , lots of miles walked , hundreds of crazy nutjobs mixed in amongst the normal nutjobs and plenty of laughs . I drank 2 pints all weekend and the thing that gave me the biggest hangover was drinking 6 bottles of sprite in an afternoon .

I managed to bump into Bear on Friday , he offered me a bottle of Apple Juice . I eyed it suspiciously and said "That`s P1ss isn`t it ?" , his mate assured me it wasn`t and I accepted it .... it was warm so I handed it back and said "you can F**K right off , that`s bodily warm lol" . Bear proceeded to crack it open and take a swig and handed it me . I thought "Oh well" and started to take a swig ..... it was then that I thought "Hang-On this is Bear ........ he probably would drink his own" .... it was then that the scotch hit me and I had a good coughing fit . Did give me a buzz though . Ollie spent quite a bit of time with us over the weekend as well , found it easy to meet up with people but these modern phones are very juice hungry and need charging almost daily , there were facilities on site for that but I found it best to go to the car and do a charge for an hour and have a snooze in the motor . Didn`t deplete the battery with the ignition just turned on to arm the ciggy socket .
