Ok I'll move my switch gear to hide it

Ah let me know if that works - I thought the switch unit sat in a little indent in the bar? While we're on the subject, is there any reason not to change from the default position of the levers/switches? There's a mark on the bar where it 'should' go, but I feel like I'd prefer the brake lever angled a touch more forward.

Nothing wrong with moving the angles that the brake and clutch levers sit. Its one of the easiest ways to make the bike more comfortable

Sweet - I would have done it without a second thought except that Haynes is quite specific about lining up with the dot on the bar which led me to wonder if there was something to do with cable tension or something.

It was one of the things mentioned in ride magazine a while back about how to make your bike more comfortable for nothing

Moved the brake lever and the switch to more "Me" position did attend to the locating lug on the switch to get it too line up.

Productive day the other day, changed the oil & filter, then did the R6 throttle tube. Piece of cake, don't know what took me so long.

Haven't ridden it on the road yet, weathers been too shizzle. Still its another job out of the way
