Yes thanks. Took sling off over weekend but still not 100%! Bruising has come out on shoulder and ribs. Think the bars must of hit me! Still could of been worse.

2014: Unfortunately there will be no MX outings at Doncaster this year. The track is still operational but the MX Tryout has changed hands and they will only be riding at Ipswich now. Geoff Mayes has retired and sold it on to Simon Humphrey (whom some of you met last year); Simon is a firefighter so now runs this when he isn’t on shift, so trips up here are a bit much for him.

We had a good few years but unless I can find someone else offering a similar gig then it’s run its course I’m afraid. Simon is still doing bike sharing in groups, so anyone in reach of Ipswich (which is a great track) who wants to organise their own group, feel free to contact him via www.motocrosstryout.co.uk

However…. There is a speedway tryout at S****horpe who I was talking with last year. It’s a similar outfit in that no experience is necessary (though not sure what age it can start from). Feel free to let me know if you would be up for this (it was a bit cheaper too I think) and I could see about organising a group there. Also anyone who fancies a track day, I’m up for one or two this year and it’s little fun going on your own.
