tried marmite by accident a good few years ago whilst in the wrens. sat down for breakfast and noticed a piece of toast smothered in thick marmite. thinking it was chocolate spread took a big bite. nearly spat it over the table. minging stuff. taught me not to pinch toast unless i was sure i could either beat the person up or had seen what they spread on their toast

Love it, but i prefer it best on toasted crumpets with lashings of butter, you can get more on a crumpet cos it fills up the little holes.
