Thankyou. Im getting better - helped by light at the end of the tunnel in sight on this matter.

As an aside, I did find out at the sentencing he was due to be charged with the attempted murder of his ex girlfriend at some point over the latter part of last year. So he's probably having his compulsory anger management classes at her majestys pleasure atm.

Ok he got found guilty on 2 counts assault, 1 count driving without due care. He got 4 points on licence, 18 months community service, and compulsory anger management classes.

Oh and solicitor has just filed court proceedings against his insurers cos they were arguing over £500 between their idea of reasonable settlement and my solicitors idea of one. Just got letter yesterday settling the injury/compensation claim for £2100.

The Criminal injuries board are considering the assault side of things so may get further compensation from there.

So the cheque which should arrive next few weeks and the impending remortgage and restructuring of finances = a brand new CBF1000 on the agenda for summer
