As Dr Rich says this is Jelsters baby, so IMHO he needs to set the date. I'm guessing that Amarko will be sorting out the route again if I'm not asuming to much and I hope so as last years was bloody brilliant. Then its got to be a weekend that suits both of them.

.

1) The great roads that were chosen for us by Amarko
2) The great company and stories that everyone had at the end of each section
3) The great organisation that pulled it all together (Jelster/El Boccadillo/Amarko)

The only thing that was missing was a get together in the evening, we must try harder this year to work on that one .
I hope i can find enough roads to keep up with the demand the TDM owners had a great time also ragging round the area and we stayed at a great site http://www.sykeside.co.uk/sykeside/about_syk.asp at the same site is bunkhouses and B&B its anywhere from 5 to 10 quid for a decent evening meal and the pubs (yeah two of them) are very nice on an evening.

it is a bit on the pricey side and needs to be booked early, however it's a great location for getting everywhere we need. it's located at the bottom of kirkstone pass beside brotherswater (midges are the only issue (sometimes)

it has to be considered however PBX also seems to have a handle on the great camping etc to be found around the lakes area, as does EL BOC

so hopefully the date can be cast then the planning can be started. there will be a re run of certain roads (just cos they are the best) but i am sure i can find some others as well. all those that missed the passes hardknott and Wrynose will kick themselves if they miss them again.

anyway the sooner we start thinking about fixing the dates and locations the sooner routes can be thought about

P.S. I have slowed down a lot as of late so i hope there are others to take on the mantle of NUTTERS

We never did get our 'I did Hardnott in the wet' badges

I couldnt find any happy medium between too much and the back slipping out and too little and chugging around nearly falling over. Fingers crossed its dry next time. The accom ideas sound great, except dont forget thsoe London types need their bed spreads, curtains and doillies

Its funny how last year was regarded as a nutters rideout in mention to the speeds of the ride, because as i couldnt manage the Saturday, i came on the Sunday and due to the weather, i thought that the speeds were more than reasonable. In fact, Mark did not come across as the demon - that was Ritchie!! I never knew someone could ride over the passes that quick in the wet.
