Loads of trees down round here. Lots of roads closed on my way home from Staines last night, but honestly did not seem bad at all to me! must have missed all the fun.
Heh, I missed it too, and I was commuting through the worst of it apparently.

Must remember to stay awake on the bike

I was quite impressed when the wind didn't just cause the bike to veer across the road, it physically slid the bike sideways.
I have to admit, that was probably the closest I've ever come to actually being blown off the bike, but it was certainly bearable.

i think a lot of people left work early yesterday, i know my work kicked out about 2.30 due to the power failing.

there were 3 trees down on my way home though, and wen i got to work this morning, the main entrance was closed with a huge tree blocking the way in. had to use the exit only, and there was another huge conifer type tree knocked over with all the roots out too.

Was a much better ride to work this morning though... i didn't nearly get thrown off a bridge or anything happy days

Couple of fences down near us, a few twigs fallen on cars, and a few broken tree's.

Oh, and the wind turned round the sign for Surbiton train station, now it points in the opposite direction; as does the arrow pointing to tolworth

Oh, and my girlfriend's guinea pigs hutch got blown over, then the roof of it came off! They were found hiding under their newspaper, shivering and coveed in mud. Poor things

Matt
