By midnight and 8 gaviscon later, I am sat on the bed doubled up in pain as the acid eats me from inside. 4am was the last time I checked the clock, dogs shot in the room at 6am. Don't they know the clocks went back. So 2 hours kip.

It is a miracle drug, 15 years of daily pain, cured for the past 10 years. but boy do I know when I forget to take it. So first thing this morning it went down.

Some scrote has kicked off my drivers door mirror, how do i know this, well my cars been parked on my drive way all weekend.

Its completely buggered.

Not the first time my car has been targeted.

Just add to the unexpected financial hit I've taken lately. Forgot to SORN my SV, so got a £40 penalty notice in the post last week.

Today has not been a good day.

@Bibs. Mines caused by other medication im taking, but will mention what you said next time im in Docs, ta petal.

@Mav. You got a teen daughter haven't you mav? just that one of my neighbours used to find his car damaged now and then as a result of having a teen daughter as the knuckle draggers that were sniffing round and being rebuked used to turn up now and then and take their frustration out on his car/property. May not be the case for you but you never know.

Nah, it's not that Geo, she doesn't have any interest in boys and doesn't go out.

It happened over the weekend, probably Saturday night when they came back from the club, Id's seen the knuckle draggers earlier in the day and looked at them the wrong way.

Something always happens when I look at these knuckle draggers the wrong way and they are part of the Darwin group

Cancer. It's evil. I went to the funeral today of a very talented journalist, historian, radio producer and musician who served on our Heritage committee. He was 76 so not a youngster but still full of life and jolly-ness until throat cancer took him too soon and too swiftly. I shall miss him making my dull committee meetings at Lord's bearable and always having a witty response to raise a chuckle. So sad to say goodbye to a dear friend on day when the sunshine streamed through the church windows and lit up his coffin in rainbow colours from the stained glass.
