My navigation skills are totally non-existent, but as the wise one says, you can't miss the M6 unless you take a detour south of Leicester or north of the whole of England.

I'm more worried about messing the end bit up and missing the motorway services because we end up taking one too many overtakes.

(of course, the fact that we're taking the same route I took to the massacre last August helps... especially as I had lunch at these particular services)

ah but it works different for men vs women

if men are going out, you must:

  • promise not to speak to any women
  • promise not to stay out too late
  • text every 30 mins
  • ring once every 2 hours
  • not have "too many" drinks
  • ring when you get home
  • make sure the missus has something else planned for when you go out
  • etc
  • etc
when the missus goes out, it's a case of:
  • "I'm going out with the girls, I'll be back later"
done.

Obviously, I only know this from a mate since I'm not under the thumb. I just tell her im off out and to make plans or she'll be bored lol
