Cool, what did you shoot? I just ordered some Bergger 400 black and white in 120 and a roll of Washi S from Analogue Wonderland.

Washi S should be interesting. I was looking at that when I ordered films but bottled out. Look forward to seeing how it comes out.
Only random shots on the film from the OM4. It looks like it's come out OK but I won't know for sure until I scan it. I poured 3 quid down the drain literally when in a fit of madness, I emptied the fixer into the sink instead of back into the storage bottle. |

I have a ferrania box camera in a canvas case, and an Ilford Sportsman in a leather case. Does anybody know if they are worth anything ?

Ilford Sportsman is a fairly basic consumer camera and quite common. Unlikely to be worth more than £10 at most. I have a Dacora Dignette, an East German camera the Sportsman is based on. When I discovered it wasn't worth much, I decided to put a film through it, just for fun, and that started me off on a mad phase of camera acquisition. It's dangerous, don't go there!
Kenzie is much more knowledgeable on box cameras, he'll be able to tell you about the Ferrania, I'm sure. |

Have you got a picture of it? We could have a look and see what they go for. I remember a certain somebody popping in here to value some unwanted gear...

I scanned the film from the OM4 last night, no scratches this time and it's come out OK. I'd be interested on thoughts on the following:
How in hell to cut the negatives in the right place and in a straight line. Editing - is it better to do this while scanning and use the inbuilt software or scan an unedited tiff file and then use photo editing software on that? |

I just use small scissors and count six frames (max for my holder)

I'm using small scissors too but I can't seem to cut in the little gap between the frames or get the line straight.
