I know you are bit of a Minolta fan Yoko, just found this at the reuse shop at the local tip.

That looks very, very nice. A 1.4 Rokkor too.

Yep. I've cleaned the aperture but I'm not sure if I reset it properly, for example, I'm not sure if f22 is correct in terms of size.

58mm f1.4, really clean too. They did bring out another box or two of gear, nothing of note except a Pentax K1000 and a Pentax ES2. I also picked up a Yashica Y35 Digifilm camera, this was an attempt to combine the retro style and "film carts" with a digital camera. So far, so bad! It's flimsy and epic shutter lag. And to think it made £1.2m on Kickstarter!

I can't believe someone binned the case full of Minolta goodies. Is the SRT working?
Someone must have been seriously unimpressed with the Yashica. That model only came out a couple of years ago and cost over £100, didn't it. |

We were thinking that maybe someone had passed away and the kit was cleared, but effectively yes, that kit was given away. I'm not complaining though! I remember the Y35 being announced, but the reviews are unfavourable. I think the black and white ones look OK.

I know, but their pricing can be all over the place. They would probably put £50 odd on it.

Didn't know they had reuse shops at local tips, is that likely to be at most local authority tips or just a few ?
