Yep, no strap but has a case, and all appears to work. I need to check out the focus accuracy but 1s and self timer work so it's not likely I'll open it up. The lock for opening the film chamber appears to be busted, you can rotate the knob regardless of the little lever under it, not a big deal. I had a read of a manual on Butkus' site before I went. It's all in great condition though, glass nice and clear. Lots of nice features, the focus screen has a split circle in the centre for example. Worth trying out once I've checked it.

I don't know why people sneer at these cameras, I really like them and they have plenty of good features.

Tessar-type lens, I was reading up last night. Chinese stuff is often not very good, at least when it's pitched as a cheap copy of something foreign, but a huge nation wasn't built on paper lanterns

surely not !
Seriously though, how accurate is this idea of Chinese goods being poor quality nowadays ? Lots of well known reputable companies now have components if not whole products made in China. I don't know , we seem to accept electronic type items made in China now being the norm ,but personally I would still be wary of whole motorcycles made in China.

That's what I mean, just because it's Chinese doesn't automatically make it rubbish. Unfortunately they haven't done themselves any favours when it comes to bikes though, I'd still steer clear.
