Seen a draft lockdown plan shared earlier, it looked a lot like the March one.. Truly sad

Well, I managed to sneak out with a couple of friends this afternoon for about three hours of very pleasant, mostly back roads riding (no goat tracks were used or harmed during this ride!). I found a cracking piece of road I had forgotten about, between Llanfair Caereinion, Adfa, Carno, and Caersws. Next time we get together for a ride I’ll work it into the route.

The ride reminded me that you don’t always have to make for the mountains for good roads. The route we took was a great mix of high moorland and wooded lowlands, with some really spectacular scenery, and I was never more than 45 miles from home.

Sounds good Gary.
I got out for a bit in the end but not on the bike. In the van. *Update as to why soon*.

Nice one Gary. I spent the day doing odd jobs and fixing some electrical faults on my sons car. It was very grey and cool in Shrewsbury so it sounds like you had better weather there.
