I wonder if TWO's journos have all just come of 125's 'cos I was thumbing through our four pages in the supermarket tonight and noticed they made a prominent comment on the "snatchy throttle". Mine ain't snatchy, it requires a degree of smooth throttle control, sure. They weren't very complimentary at all actually I thought, cr@p brakes, cr@p suspension, cr@p finish.... Thanks, lets see your opinion on any other large capacity ?4k bike, oh yeah, forgot, the ER6-F is 500 quid more with cr@p brakes, cr@p suspension, and cr@p finish and the rest are all chinese!
I like my bike so f' ![]() ![]() |

Hi there. First I'm sorry your name was spelt incorrectly Graeme. I'm also very sorry the website didn't get a mention. It did in the orignal copy (along with a couple of other SV sites) but it must have got removed when the words were laid out on tha page. I'm really sorry about this as I said we'd mention it. A massive 'thank you' to everyone who filled in the survey and sent pictures. Overall I thought it was a decent article on a decent bike. Thanks again. |

Yeah right! You got the information for your story and couldn't be bothered to give credit where it's due. What kind of a journo does not check the final copy of their story? Cynical of journalists? Hell yeah!

That's taken care of by one of the guys in the Orpington office so I don't have the details and wouldn't want to put someone's name and address on an open forum if I did have them. They have to keep details of the name and address of anyone who wins a giveaway like this. There's an official body who checks and issues (big) fines if there's any dodgy practice. If you want I can dig their details out and you can check via them or call TWO's office direct. |

As for what jouro doesn't check the final version of their article? Most of them I'm afraid. The whole thing goes via several other people (eg production editor, sub editor, editor) all of whom can change anything and 'outrank' the original journo. Broadly speaking I thought the article was good - it represented the SV650 well and fairly as well as the people who own it. Once again many thanks to everyone who helped / took part. I'm very sorry the website didn't get a mention in the final version of the article and I'm sorry that chap's name was not spelt correctly. |
