It cleared quickly but I had to de-ice the car to go to work at 8am this morning!!

Car is off the road from Tuesday next week and it will be 100% bike only for a while - hopefully the weather has turned a corner

OK, BigBaddad and Skip &co, still up for meeting and riding in?

I was just thinking that instead of meeting at Stretham, if you're taking the A10 south, you could come down 8 miles further to Cambridge, and I could meet you at Milton. I know the way to Perry from there Its about 40 minutes according to google maps.
If not, I'm perfectly happy to meet at Stretham and go the other way, but its a bit slower- goes through every village between Stretham and Huntingdon!

Let me know what you want to do

If we want to be at Perry by 9ish, meeting between 8.15 and 8.30 would make sense I reckon.

Also, soulkiss, you could meet us in milton too if you like, it'd be 5 or 10 minutes out of your way if you come up the M11. If you stay in March, ignore this

Point A on that is a little industrial estate entrance that'd be very quiet at that time on a Sunday morning.

Thoughts?

Just thinking about the petrol station close to Perry, we could fill up in St Neots as it wont be more than a couple of miles different to the station at Buckden.

Thats a fair way out of our way though Sean - especially for BBD - also there is no nice back route to the south of Cambridge - the A10 isnt much fun!

We were going to meet in Downham Market - can you find a good route that would meet nearish to there?

There's no interesting route to be honest Its quite mundane around this way

Do you want to meet at stretham and go across huntingdon way? Then down the A1 to the petrol station, down a bit more cos the stations the wrong side of the roundabout, turn left, back into buckden and up to the roundabout and onto Perry road?!

If you want interesting roads, its best to avoid cambridge

None of those routes are inspiring me though Sean! PM me your actual location and I will try and work something out

AAArrrgghhh....Houston...we have a problem.

Had my charger on my bike yesterday......just went to start it...the engine turned slightly then made a rapid clicking noise???????????

.....just had a look...seems to be the starter relay making the noise
