I'm actually quite worried about my rear 021. It's only done 4k aswell, the fronts a 14 if i remember right and that looks fine, but the tread's worn down on the rear and i'm not sure how close it is to being... ****ed.

Might take some pictures and see what you guys think.

I just noticed a few small splits in the centre of the tyre all the way around and the tread's going down aswell.

Having said that i don't know much about what the tread's supposed to look like so as soon as i can get hold of a camera i'll get some pics, thanks.

Tyre thread tends to go down with use

The splits sound stange though, can happen though if you have gone over sharp object in the road, but they are genrally not all the way around the tyre.

Yeh i know tread goes down, it's a little weird to explain haha O.O.... i've not got paddock stands so i can't inspect the whole tyre but there's a few splits that i noticed the other day, and one i could put my key about 2 or 3 mm into ^^

!

2 or 3 mm is like middle tread depth!

I think your best of getting it replaced if its like that!

Ok mr dealer said it was illegal, woo, tread's worn down and he reckons it doesn't look that good aside from tread.

He said 4000 miles wasn't bad O.O Another BT021 on the back is 110 quid from this guy (like the only dealer in telford).
Is that any good or not? :/

That's about right, I reckon. I paid £200 for a fitted front and rear last year and have just paid £95 for a fitted front.
