I can only see BBC Prime and BBC World on my cable subscription. Can I watch BBC2 on the internet maybe?

Well, after yesterdays race where Rossi overtook (2?) people during an add break, I have to say I find myself a little less disapointed the Eurosport aren't covering it anymore.

No no, I mean that I'm not sad to see Eurosport no longer covering the GP, as they're more interested in bombaring us with adds than covering the whole race.

I have Sky but have always watched MotoGP on the beeb. I could be wrong here, but the Eurosport coverage doesnt get that many rider interviews/insights. I like to see behind the scenes aswell, not just the racing. But that might just be me?! Matt Roberts, gets the top three riders in parc ferme, after the race and also sometimes a word from JT.

But he hasn't had Rossi talk to him on the grid yet!!!! Randy has. ![]() Seriously. Randy Jules and Toby are like my family- they're always on in my house on race weekend. Steve Parrish, I don't have a problem with. Or Matt. But Charlie........... I turned over from Eurosport to BBCi to watch the extra interviews at the end yesterday, to hear Charlie cox going on about James coming 10th which was a great result. Which bloody race was he watching????? OK ok, Toby and Jules aren't perfect, but I'd rather watch them any day of the week. |

This is what makes Eurosports coverage so much better, Parish doesn't know anybody anymore and the BBC never mention that what they are saying is a rumour....

That's why you don't get the parc ferme interviews like the BBC can afford to provide. It's no surprise that the riders/teams give preferential treatment to interviewers with cameras and live visual broadcasts. Imagine what Ryder/Moody/Mamola could do given the BBC budget and control over images broadcast. I don't mind that Matt Roberts too much, though. He asks decent questions and is generally inoffensive and anonymous enough. |

Im sad MotoGP won't be shown on eurosport anymore. I've learnt alot listening to Jules, Toby and randy and often stayed tuned into to eurosport just to listen to them, even when the race is boring. I'd happily watch it all sunday from 8:45am through to 2pm or whenever the transmission ended. I love the technical explanations Julian ryder did, I loved randy's input, i loved the "back in my day" type stories.
I've watched motogp on BBC2 a few times when i havnt had access to sky tv. Boring commentary, learn't nothing. I'll still be tuning in next year, but if the race shapes outto be boring, I'll just go out and do something else. If i decide to stay in...no 125 and 250 action before hand to keep me in my seat, i'll probably just go out on my own bike instead |
