Whos got wot pierced?

I like tongue piercings but it puts me off when people play with them all the time and I bet I'd end up doing that.

Seeing as this is a piercing thread has anyone had an ear piercing recently done and managed alright with lids coming on and off painwise? Or does a bit of tape over the pierced bit suffice?

I dunno about growing out, but mine has somehow managed to rotate about 90 degrees over the years. I have just had a plain silver bar in since it was done about 7 years ago, and I swear it is almost vertical now - it started off horizontal!

Had my right nostrel done about 4 years ago! Wasn't too painful just a pop and then my eyes watered for about 5 minutes. Still got it in, it took about 3 months to heal properly!

It's true to a degree. It all depends on how the piercing is done. The common ones for the body rejecting them are the eyebrows, belly button and areas such as that. If it's a shallow piercing then the body can throw it out. Much the same as when you get a splinter that you can't get out. The body will do it for you.

Normally what happens when the body is doing this is it gets infected so the offending item is removed manually. The infection is the body trying to get rid of the metal.

My left nipple has a titanium ring, and I have one small tattoo on my right ar5e cheek but will be getting a new one on my left shoulder with a Maltese theme, as soon as I can decide what to have. 2 years ago I had an ampallang done, but my ex-ex didn't like it and it was painful when things got intimate because the hole needed to be stretched to 5mm or the bar acted like cheesewire. I took it out and it healed in about 4 days. I haven't bothered to have it redone even though it can be fun for her.

My last serious ex has her tongue and ears done, plus a crucifix piercing in her right nipple and a straight bar in the left, plus a VCH (these seriously rock ladies, every girl should have it done). This is on top of the huge Japanese style dragon tattoo she has stretching from left shoulder to right thigh and both arms half-sleeved with traditional Japanese style designs. She did her final dissertation at Uni on Japanese tattooing methods and folklore.

Her recruiting sergeant at the RAF careers place was a bit shoked to see such a sweet innocent looking girl have so many body mods. Her back tattoo especially really surprised him.
