It's at the top of the A537 in the Peak District. Nice little road with decent views up and down both sides. Lots of bikes often head up there in the warmer months.

Just been having a quick think of a route for a rideout. Could be used on the Peak weekend that Lissa is planning. It's roughly:-

Derby-Duffield-Wirksworth-Cromford-Via Gellia-Grangemill-Up past Winster-Bakewell-Baslow(13 Bends?)-Owler Bar-Calver-Tideswell Moor- Chapel En Le Frith-Long Hill-Buxton-Ashbourne-Cromford(via Carsington)-Matlock Bath(Chips!)

i think we should Poll the idea, with the massive focus being on ONLY PEOPLE IN THE MIGTS should be able to vote.. or whose votes count because there is always one scoundral. lol,

No one seemed to support the idea but like the advert lol, sometimes a new name is a chance to show the org who you have always wanted to be

I say we poll to see if we should change the name..
if that gets agreed we come up with names then poll another vote to decide..

Just seen this thread - I too am up for meeting more of you guys and a regular Tuesday at Bassetts Pole sounds good to me.

About the name, how about the 'Centimetres' - bit of a play on words with 'Centre meeters' (cos we're meeting in the centre of the country) and 'Sent to meet you' cos we're all sent out the house to meet up. Or we could just call us the 'Centremeeters'. Bit random but best I can come up with at the moment!
