But once you get the GSXR into its stride then it leaves the 749 behind, thats assuming that the 749 hasnt got out of the corner faster than you in the first place...

Also I reckon you'd do the GSXR under braking as the brembos on the 749S are fantastic.

I'd like to test ride a 999S though just to see what its like.
but me aint half the rider you are Fizz.. - twice the physical person (b4 Uki says me fat !)- but not half the rider. !

dont get me wrong- I aint outgrown the gixxer- it is more of a bike than I will ever be a rider.. just I begining to wonder if maybe I got only a couple of years left bikin b4 I grow up and realise my mortality and maybe leave biking for good.. so why not have a Ducati now.

I think you under estimate your riding.

Why dont you go and get a test ride and see what it feels like to ride. Only person who knows if you're going to like it is you, if you can afford it I'd be getting on and doing it and getting it out of your system as like you say you're going to always think "what if"

Wise advice from the Fizzmeister.

I know you're not interested in top speed as such, and I reckon the Duke will actually be more enjoyable to ride. Quite possibly your A to B times will get quicker unless it's motorway.

Black one here. Looks like a dark from the Matt black paint.
