I got to buy a new battery... mine is on its way out now It wont start at all without flattening the damn thing. Sigh

What should the voltage be at when cranking? Mine drops to 9.5Volts and lower!! Dead battery?

Hope its not the rectifier... faulty rectifier usually means the the battery doesn't charge properly. All though you haven't got a VFR so it probably isn't that lol

No its not that... Its running all the heated gear and lights isnt leaving enough charge for the battery. I dont think that the alarm helps much tbh. Once its running and without the stuff turned on it charges fine.

Seems it was made to be a bloody summer bike and not a winter one ha ha.

Going to take those connectors out, well going to take the plastic off and solder the connections up so as to get as little resistance as possible. Ill check the connectors to the rectifier as well.

Mild isn't the half of it - I had to take the winter liners out of my gear earlier
