The lazy and the stupid kept well fed with plenty time to reproduce, while the intelligent and hardworking have no time to.

Although that said, some of the truly "great" people, be it arts/sports/subjects etc come from "normal" or in fact "sub normal" people, strange but true.

Noone is born good, anymore than they are born bad*. You need to be taught right from wrong, and if that involves an all powerful deity so be it. The outcome is important, the means are incidental. Something that seems to be forgotten.
