Just finished watching these and I can't really see what the point was. No real story, no resolution and very few jokes.
I thought it might be leading up to the announcement of a new series but obviously not. On a slightly different note, no other actor can do the 'gormless, dumbstruck wtf' face quite as well as the fella that plays Steve MacDonald. That DID make me laugh. |

I'm with the majority here. They seem to have put far too much emphasis on new filming techniques and CGI stuff than a plot or a script.
Shame, was really hoping for something very charismatic and funny with real chemistry between old friends...sadly it had none of that. The whole thing was a mish mash of ideas stolen from Blade Runner, Spaceballs and Hitchikers Guide.
