i used to use shell 2T i think it was called, reason being you can get it at any shell garage, bikes always ran great on the stuff.

another thing to remember... to much oil in the mix is BAD.. there is no need and causes more harm than good..

another thing you might want to consider using along with the 2T oil is ZX1 in the petrol. its quite pricey but you dont need much and its a bit of a safeguard..

Kurtis.randle: I'm sorry but if you don't know wtf you're talking about then there really is no point you posting in this thread if you're just gonna chat ****. For once I shall say take it to the MT I can do without being confused about stuff at this time of night!

EDIT: thats MT for "megathread" in case you're having difficulties!

Hmm well I was generally asking people's opinions about them as learner bikes, have ended up with lots of other interesting material too though

Did you find the acceleration easy to used to? Bearing in mind I haven't ridden the cagiva yet but have heard about the power (what power there is in a 125 anyway!) going from next to nothing then whoooof! or BANG as others have mentioned (sound effects leave a lot to be desired I know )

well their interesting and fun is the word of the day and keeping them in their sweet spot(powerband) will keep you entertained for a good while i had mine for over two years and although it clogged up(town work they hate it) and stranded me once(fixed at the roadside peice of **** to work on as so simple) i wouldnt have had any other 125 to learn on usually accelearation is good if it's light like mine was.
