Awww, thank you for your kind words GG.

What I have learned about spiders is mainly due to having had one as a pet and doing a lot of reading, although I did study a little entomology on my degree many years ago now. Spiders, wasps and ants absolutely fascinate me, probably because I am a bit of a nerd and like the things that others find a little intimidating, maybe this makes up for the fact that I am actually a bit of a wimp?

TBH I'd be more fussed about a shark bite than a spider bite, you can't get an antivenom to stick your head back on can you.

I know but your thread's title didn't invisage little groups of spiders, with ****e london accents, wearing hoodies, in the corner of the OP's bedroom calling them names.

I read somewhere that experts say on average we are never more than three feet away from a spider & that we eat three in our lifetime as they come up to drink the moisture (dribble) in the corner of our mouths when we sleep.

I'd say we're more likely to eat three each year and wouldn't be at all suprised if it was even three a month. At certain times of the year, like now, they are everywhere and it's usually at the same time of the year that we get stuffy noses and sleep with our mouths open!!!

Sweet dreams folks....lol
